Black Food and Wine Experience

The Black Food and Wine Experience is a celebration of Black excellence in the culinary and wine industries. The organization hosts tastings, dinners, and conversations spotlighting Black chefs, sommeliers, vintners, brewers, distillers, and farmers. Events have been held in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, Charleston, and other cities. The flagship experience features multi-course tasting menus prepared by Black chefs paired with selections from Black-owned wineries, offering attendees both an education in the breadth of Black culinary talent and a directly supportable network of Black food entrepreneurs.
Black Girls Wine Society Festival

The Black Girls Wine Society Festival emerged from the larger Black Girls Wine community, a network created to elevate Black women in wine and create space for those interested in deepening their wine knowledge. The festival spotlights Black women winemakers, sommeliers, importers, and enthusiasts through tastings, masterclasses, and curated dinners. The organization also hosts year-round chapter events in cities across the United States, including Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, and Houston, creating one of the most active grassroots wine education communities for Black women in the country.
Black Restaurant Week

Black Restaurant Week was founded in 2016 by Warren Luckett, Falayn Ferrell, and Derek Robinson to celebrate and support Black-owned restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and culinary entrepreneurs. The organization hosts multi-day dining events in cities across the United States including Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Miami, and Washington DC. During each activation, participating restaurants offer prix fixe menus and special dining experiences, driving foot traffic and visibility to Black culinary businesses. Black Restaurant Week has become one of the most effective economic empowerment platforms in the Black food and hospitality industry, generating millions in revenue for participating businesses.
